Zelos watch collectors will love the choice of the hand wound Swiss ETA/Peseux 7001 movement with small seconds, which also features in watches from the likes of Baume & Mercer, Bell & Ross, Blancpain, Junghans, Junkers, Longines, Montblanc, Nomos, Omega, Stowa, and Tissot. Here we can see the movement being showcased in the sapphire crystal exhibition case back, with Côtes de Genève striping, blued screws, and a deeply engraved gold Zelos logo.

However, the main star of the show on this Zelos Nova Aventurine is the deep blue dial, with a cut glass guilloché pattern that has been milled rather than pressed in the outer sector, so the pattern can really catch the light, something we didn't expect to see at this price point, and a wonderful color-matched deep blue aventurine glass dial, which can twinkle as it moves in the light, reminding us of a starry night sky.

The rest of the watch seems ideal for a dress watch, with the thinness of the 7mm case height nicely emphasized by both the recessed bezel and decorative cut-outs on the lugs. An extremely supple and comfortable pair of hand-made Horween leather straps with vintage-style white stitching are the perfect choice here. Horween is renowned as the best tannery in the USA, with a history going back to 1905.

Of course, being a Zelos, we also have a robust design that features 50 meters of water resistance, scratch resistant sapphire crystal on the front and back, and Incabloc shock protection on the movement, making this dress watch a great option for an everyday wear too.
